Dateline South Bend, Washington State. Your Intrepid Cancer Cure Rider and his ground crew (Leanne) met Dave foxley (Washington State Patrol Motors – Ret.) at the Chester Club. This tavern is owned by Tim Sedgwick….a really great guy who became a friend long after we started making it a stop on our annual run down to buy oysters. They serve the best freshly schucked oysters I’ve ever eaten. And that’s saying something as I grew up eating fresh oysters here in the Pacific Northwest.
And then it was South to the Mighty Columbia River, cross into Oregon, and out to the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely a beautiful ride with some breath taking scenery.
