Dateline Santa Barbara, California. Your Intrepid Cancer Cure Rider left Monterey early this morning, accompanied by his sidekick “LawDawg” Larry Severence and we headed South on California Highway 1. Highway 1 stays right on the Pacific Coast and has magnificent beaches, surf, and scenery.
And these amazingly beautiful Beach Babes….Elephant Seals who were sunning their shapely 1,000 Lb. bodies on the beach!

We arrived in Santa Barbara in time to enjoy some fresh local oysters and a local microbrew, and then it was off to his home. Once there Larry’s wife Judy greeted us and his son-in-law barbequed a fantastic steak dinner. Well done Don and ‘Lex! Thank you to all of the Severence family for a great dinner and wonderful company.
Tomorrow morning I head for the border….the second “End Of America To End Cancer”…Imperial Beach, California. Then I have to head back North to I-8 Eastbound and it’s off to End number 3 – Key West Florida.
