Dateline Santa Barbara, California. Your Intrepid Cancer Cure Rider left Monterey early this morning, accompanied by his sidekick \u201cLawDawg\u201d Larry Severence and we headed South on California Highway 1. Highway 1 stays right on the Pacific Coast and has magnificent beaches, surf, and scenery.<\/p>\n

And these amazingly beautiful Beach Babes\u2026.Elephant Seals who were sunning their shapely 1,000 Lb. bodies on the beach!<\/strong>
\n\"2013-06-06<\/a><\n\n\nWe arrived in Santa Barbara in time to enjoy some fresh local oysters and a local microbrew, and then it was off to his home. Once there Larry\u2019s wife Judy greeted us and his son-in-law barbequed a fantastic steak dinner. Well done Don and \u2018Lex! Thank you to all of the Severence family for a great dinner and wonderful company.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow morning I head for the border\u2026.the second \u201cEnd Of America To End Cancer\u201d\u2026Imperial Beach, California. Then I have to head back North to I-8 Eastbound and it\u2019s off to End number 3 \u2013 Key West Florida.<\/p>\n
