Dateline Monterey, California State. Your Intrepid Cancer Cure Rider doesn\u2019t like to whine, but last night was a real bear\u2026.or maybe I should say \u201cracoon(s)\u201d. Yours truly is still re-learning the details of camping, a fact which never escapes my lovely wife Leanne as she laughs her A _ _ off at me! <\/p>\n

Last night I was sleeping fitfully in my one-man pup tent when to such a clatter I arose. Grabbed my gun, unzipped the flap to confront the intruder\u2026.just in time to see two raccoons taking off with my turkey jerky! Darn. Now I shall certainly starve while coping with nature out here the wilderness. Now I know how Louis and Clark felt, except they at least had Native American help.<\/p>\n

Speaking of nature, the California Coastline is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the world. As I passed by these pristine beaches, I felt Officer Fazio as he told me \u201cEnjoy\u2026.there is no other like it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two days of down time in Monterey are very much looked forward to. I shall share my experiences as best I can.<\/p>\n
